Resource Management and Consumer Science is a major department at PJTSAU, Hyderabad, focusing on human factors, ergonomics, and environmental resource management. Doctoral programme in Department of Resource Management and Consumer Science (RMCS)
Doctoral Course Works
After admission into the Doctoral programme in Resource Management and Consumer Science, students study advanced topics like Occupational Biomechanics, Ergonomics, Globalization and Consumer Economics, and Space Designing. As per the CBCS, the programme carries 100 credits, with 75 credits dedicated to doctoral research.
Doctoral thesis research
The students undertake their doctoral research after completing the first year’s course work. Every student will be assigned experienced senior faculty member who will be approved by the Dean of Post-Graduate Studies to mentor them form beginning of selection of their research topic till submission of thesis.
Research internship
The students attend various scientific events such as symposia and conferences that help to get exposure to different research platforms and scientific areas that helps them to gain knowledge. Students are encourage to have collaboration research with other institutes either in India or abroad. Stipend is given by the university for period of 25 months to the admitted students who will be regular on roles.
