Aim of the Programme
- The M.Sc. in Resource Management and Consumer Science (RMCS) aims to develop academic and practical skills in resource management, ergonomics, interior design, and consumer economics. The curriculum follows BSMA guidelines and includes both theory and field-based learning. Key subjects include Human Factors, Interior Planning, Consumer Issues, and Product Design. Students undertake research on ergonomic and consumer topics using various methodologies. The program is offered at several universities including ANGRAU, GBPUAT, AAU, PAU, CSAUK, and others.

Master’s in Agricultural Economics
Master Course Work
Post graduate programme in the Department of Resource Management and Consumer Science (RMCS) is being offered for two years where students have to complete course work in one and half years. It comprised 54 credits out of which one credit was allotted for seminar, 53 credits for major and minor department courses and 30 credits for research work + 5 PGS courses which are non-credit compulsory courses.
Master's Thesis Research
In the first year, the students start exploring the topics of interested research areas to start their thesis research. Each student is assigned to an experienced faculty to be the Chairperson of the advisory committee, approved by the Dean of post-graduate studies. The committee would guide the student on his/ her choice of research topic to complete 30 credits. At the end of the degree programme the students is expected to submit a thesis report highlighting the research problems addressed, methodology followed and results obtained.
3) Research internship
The students attend various scientific events such as symposia and conferences that help to get exposure to different research platforms and scientific areas that demonstrate ways to obtain financial support for their education. Stipend is given by the university for period of 20 months to the admitted students who will be regular on roles.
