Livelihood Improvement through Integrated Farming System for Small and Marginal Farmers
Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem conducted a one-day training programme on “Livelihood Improvement through Integrated Farming System for Small and Marginal Farmers” on 12.12.2025 In this programme, Dr. T. Bharath, Programme Coordinator briefed the participants on livelihood security and employment generation through the Integrated Farming System (IFS). After the technical session, farmers, rural youth and women visited the Integrated Farming System Demonstration Unit.
Later, different input distribution programmes were organized:
Sunflower hybrid KBSH-90 and Battery-operated sprayers were distributed to 20 farmers of Padugonigudem (V), Gundala (M) under the Cluster Front Line Demonstration (Oilseeds).
Paddy seed KNM-1638 was distributed to 25 farmers of Bhattugudem, Kothapalli, Mahadevapuram (V) of Dummugudem (M) under tribal sub plan.
In this programme, Dr. T. Bharath, Programme Coordinator, Dr. N. Hema Sarat Chandra, Scientist (Extension), Sri B. Shiva, Scientist (Horticulture) and 43 farmers participated.
