Health Center

The University Health Centre is well established with a dedicated medical team and adequate facilities to address the healthcare needs of students as well as teaching and non-teaching staff. The Health Centre at Rajendranagar is equipped with an observation room, inpatient and outpatient services, a pharmacy, pathological laboratory facilities, and two ambulances to handle medical emergencies. Medical officers are engaged on a contract basis to provide timely healthcare services.

All constituent colleges own an ambulance to meet emergency medical needs. In addition, the outstation colleges maintain medical clinics, where doctors visit the campus regularly to attend to students’ health requirements. In cases requiring advanced medical attention, patients are referred to nearby hospitals for further treatment.

Students Health Care Scheme

The University implements a Students Health Care Scheme to support the medical needs of students.. Under this scheme, the University bears hospitalization expenses up to Rs. 30,000/- per student in case a student is hospitalized. The scheme provides financial assistance during medical emergencies and ensures timely access to healthcare, thereby promoting the health, safety and well-being of students.

The University maintains a health profile of all students to ensure their overall physical and mental well-being. Health details of students are collected and documented at the time of admission and updated periodically to facilitate early identification of health issues. In case any medical concern is identified, the student and concerned authorities are promptly informed.

The University provides 24×7 ambulance services across all constituent colleges, with each college owning an ambulance to ensure timely medical assistance and emergency care for students and staff.

24×7 Reading Hall

The University maintains a 24×7 Reading Hall at Rajendranagar to support continuous academic engagement and self-study. In addition, all constituent colleges provide 24×7 reading rooms in their respective hostels, ensuring uninterrupted access to study facilities for students.
