Introduction
Farm Machinery and Power Engineering
M.Tech(Agril.Engg.) in the Dept. of Farm Machinery and Power Engineering program mainly focuses on in-depth knowledge of farm machinery, power systems, and related technologies.This programme Provides a completely solitary academic experience that inspires students to contribute and compete with the changing Farm Mechanization in order to acquire society goals and to provide ideal service to the profession which Imparts the scientific foundation for sustainable productivity with contemporary applications of agricultural machinery.

Aim of the Programme
- To conduct basic and applied research on farm mechanization in the field of agriculture
- To increase the farm power utilization through adoption of various farm machinery at farm level.
- To design and develop agricultural implements/equipment’s for small and marginal farmers
- To adopt advance technologies viz., automation, AI, and robotics in the research and development of machinery.

Application and Admission
- Candidates seeking admission into Master’s Degree courses must have passed the 4 years Bachelor’s Degree examination in B.Tech.(Agril.Engg.) course in the table below from a State Agricultural University (SAU) / Central AgriculturalUniversity (CAU)/ Institution accredited by ICAR.
- The relevant degree and collegeshould also have been accredited by ICAR.
- For admission into Master’s courses, the candidates must have secured a minimum OGPA of 6.60/10.00 (SC/ST-5.60/10.00) or 2.60/4.00 (SC/ST – 2.20 / 4.00) or 60%marks in traditional system (SC/ST-50%) in the qualifying examination.
