Dr. K.B. Eswari, Ph.D.
Dr. Eswari has developed nine high-yielding pulse and millet varieties including Greengram (MGG 347, 348, 351, 385), Blackgram (MBG 207, 1070, 1073), Redgram (MRG 1004), and Jowar (MJ278). As Research Editor of ANGRAU’s Journal of Research, she elevated its NAAS rating from 1.0 to 3.86 and enabled global access via CABI.org. She was instrumental in strengthening PG programs across State Agricultural Universities by aligning them with ICAR-JRF/SRF standards — a first in the state.
