Three-Day Training Programme on FARMAP 2.0-Review of data and related instructions
Cost of Cultivation Scheme (CCS), Dept. of Ag. Economics, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, PJTAU, organized a three-day training programme on “FARMAP 2.0-Review of data and related instructions for Rabi 2025-26 and demonstration of FARMAP 3.0” for Agricultural Extension Officers (AEOs), Agricultural Research Officers (AROs), Computors, and Assistant Statistician from 17.12.2025 & 19.12.2025 at Seminar Hall, CCS.
Dr. R. Vijaya Kumari, Professor & Head, and Hon. Director, CCS, graced the occasion as Chief Guest and emphasized the importance of accurate data collection, which forms the basis for fixing Minimum Support Price (MSP) by the Government of India. She also highlighted the guidelines of the CCS-m Tracker.
Dr. D. A. Rajini Devi, Field Officer, CCS, explained in detail the procedure for data collection and entry into the FARM 2.0 app during the current Rabi season, covering RT-wise aspects. In addition, she demonstrated the FARMAP-3.0 in detail RT wise covering all aspects.
Later, highlighted common discrepancies observed in Kharif data of 2025-26 and suggested corrective measures to ensure data reliability. Also provided instructions for the new Block period 2026-29.
As part of the programme, Dr. B. Savitha, Professor and Head, Dept. of Agricultural Extension delivered an interactive session on “Social networking and group dynamics among officials and farmers” by stressing the need for effective teamwork to enhance performance. She also engaged the participants through group activities.
A total of 32 participants benefited from the programme.
