Title:
Field Day on HDPS Cotton Technology under NFSM–Special Project of ICAR–CICR: “Targeting Technologies to Agro-Ecological Zones – Large Scale Demonstration of Best Practices to Enhance Cotton Productivity” for the year 2025–26 at Malagurijala village, Bellampalli mandal, Mancherial district.
Brief Description of the Activity:
KVK, Bellampalli organized a Field Day on High-Density Planting System (HDPS) in cotton under the NFSM–Special Project. During the programme, Dr. N. Mahesh, SMS (Crop Production) provided technical guidance on HDPS technology, highlighting the advantages of higher plant population and the role of cotton stalk incorporation through shredders for improving soil health. Smt. P. Sadvi, SMS (Agri. Extension) offered advisory support for effective adoption of HDPS practices by farmers. Other KVK staff also interacted with farmers and facilitated the event.
