Rythu Nestham Live video conference Programme

Rythu Nestham Live video conferencing of 80th episode was conducted from Electronic Wing Studio at ARI, Rajendranagar on 06-01-2026 from 10 AM to 11-45 AM. The programme started with live interaction of  Prof.Aldas Janaiah, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor  from organic farm at Ludas village Haryana state, he insisted upon taking up of organic farming and reducing  chemical load of fertilizers in cultivation of crops, he showed the vast 139 acres of farm land  wherein progressive farmers were cultivating crops like wheat, mustard and beans  organically and urged the farmers of the Telangana state to adopt such environment friendly technologies. Dr.K. Rukmini Principal Scientist (Pulses) briefed the farmers on options to take up pulses as summer crop followed by Dr.N. Sandhya Kishore Scientist (Pl.Breeding), RARS Jagityal spoke on sesamum varieties suitable for ensuing summer season later Dr.K.Anitha Principal Scientist and Head Vegetable Section, SKLTGHU gave precautionary measures to be followed against chilli thrips.  

The programme was granced by the presence of Dr.M.Balram, Director of Research, PJTAU and attended by Dr.M.Sreenivasulu Principal Scientist (Agril.Extension) & Coordinator, Dr.J.S.Sudha Rani, Sr. Scientist (Agro), Electronic wing and officials from Directorate of Agriculture, officials of Agri and allied departments and about 40,000 farmers from 1582 Rythu Vedikas participated in the programme across the state.
